Hitting the Road in the Jabiru J2
This October long weekend, Trakka will be rolling into the Vanlife Gathering 2025 behind the wheel of the TRAKKA Jabiru J2 (Mercedes-Benz Sprinter LWB) and I’d love for you to join me! Whether you’re already a proud TRAKKA owner or simply curious to see the Jabiru in action, this is the perfect chance to connect, share stories, and experience vanlife at its best.
The Gathering
Dates: October 3rd–5th, 2025
Location: Natural Bridge, an hour inland from Byron Bay and Gold Coast
Set in the unspoiled bushland of Natural Bridge, this gathering is more than just a weekend away — it’s a celebration of freedom, community, and the simple joys of life on the road. The property is truly special: untouched surroundings, abundant wildlife, a beautiful swimming hole, and the Natural Bridge National Park just a short walk away.
What’s Included
Your ticket includes:
- Two nights of camping (unpowered sites, toilets provided)
- A catered lunch sponsored by Victron Energy
- All event activities - from live music and workshops to fireside storytelling and art
Tickets are $140 per adult for the weekend (kids under 16 are free). Tickets must be purchased online before the event.
Camping facilities: All tickets are for unpowered sites with toilets provided. There is no access to drinking water so pack in water and food. Dogs are allowed on a lead at this campground.
A Community for Everyone
This is a family-friendly event — everyone is welcome! Bring your van, bus, RV, car, motorbike, tent, or swag. The only requirement? An open mind and a willingness to connect with people who share a love for alternative ways of living.
Expect evenings around the fire, conversations with like-minded travellers, and plenty of activities to dip into: hiking, swimming, surfing, fishing, and more. Plus, we’ll take time to acknowledge the traditional owners of the land and the rich history of the region.

With its smart long-wheelbase layout, home-like features, and off-grid capability, it feels right at home in a setting like the Natural Bridge property.
